GTX Corporation, a company which produces global positioning system (GPS) devices, is working with Aetrex Worldwide, a company that manufactures shoes, to develop shoes with GPS location capabilities to alert caregivers when an Alzheimer's Disease patient has wandered off, and to help locate the patient before the situation becomes dangerous.
