A report presented at the 24th Conference of Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI) gave estimates of the total worldwide economic burden due to the estimated 29.4 million people currently suffering from Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of Dementia around the globe as about 315.4 billion dollars, which may quadruple by 2050.
