Keep Your Eyes Healthy By Knowing When To Toss Your Mascara

Mascara should be thrown away after three months, since bacteria builds up in the tube. If it changes color, smells, or if you've had an eye infection and used it, then discard it even sooner. Never share mascara with your friends either since you'll end up trading bacteria that's on the brush.
