Study: Exercise Helps Reduce 'Bad' Cholesterol In Women

A long-term study of 8,700 men and women revealed that women in particular derive enormous benefits from exercise. Even an extra half hour of moderate activity each week (not day) caused HDL (good cholesterol) levels to increase and LDL (bad cholesterol) levels to significantly decrease, especially in menopausal women.
