When you're running on the treadmill or using an elliptical machine, make sure you keep your stomach muscles tight, your back straight, and let your butt muscles help drive the machine. Change your exercise routine periodically. Also, when lifting weights, don't rest between sets. Instead move on and work a different set of muscles.
