Long-Standing Hay Fever May Impede Nasal Airflow

Italian scientists found that patients who had nasal allergies, also known as rhinitis or hay fever, for six years verses those who suffered for only six years showed a narrowing of the nasal passages. A reduced effectiveness of nasal decongestants may be related to this narrowing.
