First Place: Mission Keeps Entrepreneur On Track

Jennifer Herskowitz believes deeply in the mission of her store, The Allergy-Free Shop, and that has kept her going over the nine months since she one first place in The Miami Herald Plan Challenge. Despite the economy, her revenue has grown about 10 percent each month, except June. Her store offers everything from food, to bedding and cleaning products designed for people with allergies.
