Obesity 'Set Before Age Of Five'

The Early Bird Diabetes study, carried out by the Peninsula Medical School, Plymouth, UK, has been looking at 233 children from birth to puberty, and has found that children who are overweight by the age of five are likely to be overweight by the age of nine, and carry this through the rest of their lives.
