A study of 40,000 men ages 45-79 revealed those who ate one portion of omega-3-dense fatty fish weekly had 12 percent lower risk of having heart problems, while those who ate even higher amounts reduced their risk further. People with poor heart health should try to have one gram of omega-3s per day.
