Don't Go To Bed Mad
If there is any sort of advice I can offer when it comes to relationships - its "Don't go to bed mad".
Over the years, I am sure that we have all had small and large arguments with our mates. Its interesting how things can escalate with the one you care about. Sometimes, something as simple as washing the dishes can turn into an argument that keeps us up all nite - who knew?!?!?!?
Anyhow, what I have found works very well in my relationship is to make sure that you don't go to bed mad. That doesn't necessarily mean that you are going to have settled the argument completely, but its important to make sure that you can sleep through the night without being MAD at your mate. Here are some simple things to help with that:

Anyhow, what I have found works very well in my relationship is to make sure that you don't go to bed mad. That doesn't necessarily mean that you are going to have settled the argument completely, but its important to make sure that you can sleep through the night without being MAD at your mate. Here are some simple things to help with that:
- Make sure you look at the argument from both sides. Try and see your mate's point.
- Put the argument in perspective - is it really worth getting angry and all the energy associated with that
- Try and remember why you are with your mate - the things you love about them will probably outweigh the reason for this fight
- Think long term - does this misunderstanding really impact your longterm happiness
- If you can, make nice with your partner. You don't have to apologize, but let them know you can understand their point and that you love them
- Listen to some calming music once you have thought things through - to take your mind off of it and relax you
- Think back to other "Fights" you have had and how silly they seem now - perhaps even funny. Laugh if you have to. And if it makes sense, remind your mate of the same instances
- Read a book - again, take your mind off of things
