Nice Recommends The Drug Alitretinoin For Severe Hand Eczema

Preliminary guidance on the use of altretinoin has been issued by in the UK for the treatment of chronic hand eczema. The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) recommends that the once-daily drug should be given to patients with severe disease that has not responded to topical corticosteroids, oral immunosuppressants or phototherapy.
