A treatment under development for the rare skin condition Epidermolysis Bullosa offers hope for sufferers such as Tie Davey. The condition causes two-year-old Tie's skin to blister and rip easily. He currently has a life expectancy of 30 at best, and is likely to face severe disability followed by aggressive cancer if treatment is not found.
