A new drug under development has shown excellent results in a Phase I trial for melanoma. The drug, PLX-4032, has been developed by the company Plexxikon in partnership with Roche. It is hoped that the drug will progress rapidly through Phase II and Phase III testing, followed by accelerated FDA approval.
