Seanie Nammock suffers from fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP), which causes the body to grow an extra skeleton. The extra bones cause immobility and eventual whole-body paralysis, transforming a person into a human statue. Despite the diagnosis, Nammock remains optimistic. She is one of just 600 cases of FOP ever documented.
